I began fly fishing in the early 1990’s. In 2022, I became a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructor(CI).
I became Iowa’s only FFI Master Casting Instructor(MCI) in 2025. I’m am working on becoming an FFI Examiner for individuals testing for their CI and MCI.
More recently, in February 2026, I qualified to be a member of Team USA’s Fly Casting Team.
